"Happy 2012 Eve!"Posted by Kevin on December 31, 2011 at 4:08 PMAllow me to interrupt your New Year's festivities to present a brand new micro-soundtrack to a
Sebastiaan Software Media game entitled
Bobby and Dragu: On Air! The soundtrack consists of just three pieces: "Tutorial", "Lava Cavern", and "Hyper Boss". I hope it provides you with some
bite-sized enjoyment!
On the technical side of things, I haven't gotten around to fixing the commenting system here, but if you're itchin' to give me some feedback, there's always
Facebook,
Twitter, and
other methods to boot!

"Medal Wars!"Posted by Kevin on September 20, 2011 at 1:16 PMHoo boy. I get so caught up in Web 2.0 sometimes, I forget to update Web 1.0!
Anyway, as those who follow my
Facebook and/or
Twitter are already aware, the RPM album I mentioned in the previous update has been put on hold due to a much more interesting project called
Medal Wars!
Medal Wars is an upcoming game -- yes, an
actual game -- produced by an
actual company known as Retro Army Limited. And I get to write all the music for it! If you didn't click on the link above to check out the preview website, I recommend you go back and do so. There's even a demo version of the game available for download, with some of my brand-new tracks in it for your listening-while-shooting-baddies pleasure!

"Music, et cetera."Posted by Kevin on February 28, 2011 at 2:11 PMI've got a couple of site-related announcements today, but first, let's talk about the important stuff: the music!
As anyone who follows my
Twitter already knows, during the entire month of February, I've been taking part in the
RPM Challenge. Said challenge consists of writing an album, or 35 minutes of music, in 28 days. While I successfully met the 35-minute requirement (hooray!), I've got plans for a few more tracks that I want to include on the album before I actually release it. But a great deal of progress has been made, and I'm feelin' pretty swell about that. My calendar for March is looking fairly unpleasant, but depending on how the month unfolds, I hope to be able to post some previews soon.
But don't worry; I haven't come
entirely empty-handed! Please allow me to present a piece that I finished in January but didn't post for various reasons (read as: I forgot). It's a soothing little orchestral number, and it goes by the name of
Seer's Forest. Enjoy!
Now for the websitey stuff. The good announcement is that I've added an archive of news posts so you can go back and read anything you might have missed. To access it, just click the "
Archive" link above (right next to "Latest News"). The bad announcement is that I've had to temporarily disable commenting on news posts because spambots were somehow finding a way around my CAPTCHA filter. Once I figure out how this was happening and fix it, you'll be able to post comments once again. For the time being, if you're itchin' to give me some feedback, you can still do so in
a number of excellent ways (including the aforementioned Twitter).
Lates!
